Le luci del Cinema del reale si riaccendono nel Castello Volante di Corigliano d'Otranto.


Panoramica dello scavo archeologico realizzato dal prof. Paul Arthur e Paola Tagliente, dell'Università del Salento, nel biennio 2000-01, nella sala ovest del cortile delle dimensioni di circa 13,80 x 9,95 ml coperta da una volta a sesto acuto nel complesso architettonico del castello De' Monti di Corigliano d'Otranto (Le), per conto del comune stesso e della Soprintendenza dei Beni Architettonici della Puglia.

I lavori, effettuati in occasione dei restauri volti al ripristino e alla rifunzionalizzazione della struttura, hanno rivelato una sequenza stratigrafica che, a parte le presunte tracce di età protostorica, riguarda un arco di tempo compreso tra i secoli XIII/XIV e XIX. Importanti a questo proposito sono le strutture, i reperti ceramici e numismatici venuti alla luce.
